Machine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of machinery including but not limited to conveyor systems, packaging machines, filling machines, and labeling equipment.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes of equipment malfunctions, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Machine Adjustments: Make necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
Parts Replacement: Replace worn or defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks. Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.
Experience: Minimum of 5 of experience as a Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Qualifications: A relevant trade qualification (e.g., Fitter and Turner certification) is required. Additional certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are advantageous.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
