Mechanical maintenance of production equipment consisting mainly of PVC Injection Moulding and PVC extrusion equipment. Maintenance of production equipment. Perform rigging function, in the moving or relocation of production equipment. Fault finding, mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and mechanical drives. Scheduled planned maintenance. Comply with all Company policies regarding: Health and Safety, Environmental Legislation Quality (SHEQ) requirements Engineering General Machinery Regulations Provide support to Manufacturing Operations. Work additional or overtime when required. Perform standby duties when required. Implement efficiency driven improvements. Recognised RED SEALTrade Test Certificate as a Fitter and Turner. N3 Engineering as a minimum, N6 or higher recommendable. 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in an engineering environment FMCG environment. Experience in a PVC environment as a mechanical fitter and maintenance on machines and equipment would be highly advantageous. Qualified Fitter and Turner. Proven record of accomplishment as an experienced Fitter & Turner. Problem Solving & Analytical abilities. Solid experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, fitting & turning. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. Dependable, Punctual, Committed and Honest worker.
