Description KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary Responsibilities • To perform maintenance on trucks, trailers, and depot. As well as depot and fleet routine inspections.• 24-hour breakdowns (standby)• Maintaining fleet and depot • Repairs on truck and trailers • Ordering parts and maintaining stock, collect• Roadworthy and safe loading inspections • Work weekends when needed.• Tyre changes • Tank cleaning • Tank installations • Tank repairs• Health and safety inspections• Fleet inspections • General run aroundQUALIFICATIONS• Matric• Valid driver’s licenceEXPERIENCE:• Mechanical/Pneumatics experience will be advantage.• Ability to work under pressure.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: • Must be computer literate• Excellent communication skills• Must be able to think on your feet• Goal-driven, no time wasters• Team-player • Able to work and thrive under pressure• To go the extra mile, whether expected of you or notATTRIBUTES:• Honest, loyal, reliable, and trustworthy. • A ‘Can-do’ attitude. • A problem solver• Team player.• Self-motivated.• Operationally a hands-on person.• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work within a deadline driven environment.• Ability to multitask.• Be independent and pro-active. • Time management skills. • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation. • Ability to take the initiative.• Be able to take responsibility.• Positive mindset.
