Reference: SW004610-ML2-1An international company has a fantastic opportunity for a Flights Specialist to join their dynamic South African team based in TechnoPark, Stellenbosch. The main purpose of this role will be to provide a friendly and efficient service to travel organisations via phone, email and online. By selling and servicing bookings, the Flights Specialist must understand customer needs to advise effective solutions and work with the Team Leader to drive sales, hit budgets and deliver profits.Duties will include but not limited to: Monitoring and actioning all email, phone and Help Centre requests for bookings in line with set company service level standards Using a GDS to check availability and make, manage, ticket and refund bookings Constructing nett fares from CAT35 Using industry knowledge and initiative to choose best airlines to approach to meet client's requirements Making sound commercial decisions on margins and pricing on a booking-by-booking basis Ensuring payments are received from clients in good time to meet deadlines Developing close ties with staff within airline partners to strengthen relationships PLEASE APPLY IF YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY AND MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Currently residing within the Western Cape Willing to work at the office as this is NOT a remote position At least one year working experience within the travel industry.
