Our client a packaging manufacturer based in Epping, Cape Town is looking for an experienced Folder - Glue Operator. The incumbent, reporting to the Glueing Supervisor, will be expected to ensure efficiencies are consistently meet and exceeded technical standards and to improve the productivity in the factory Key Result Areas Achieve required efficiencies and productivity on above machine Manage output to key quality requirements in line with BRCGS Good housekeeping, health and safety and routine maintenance requirements Must be prepared to work shifts Education and Experience Grade 12 – or experience equivalent At least three years' experience in running folder gluer machines Be conversant with straight line, crash-lock and hotmelt carton combinations Competencies Required Deadline / results driven Good numeracy and accuracy skills Technical acumen Good communication skills Problem solving and trouble shooting ability Ability to work through and with people Must be able to work in a pressurised environment Must be an enthusiastic team player Must be able to work shifts Desired Skills: glue machine operator technical quiality shifts adhesive bond Employer & Job Benefits: Basic salary medical aid provident fund Apply Now
