Food Service Sales Representative - Gauteng

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented, energetic, and motivated Food Service Sales Representative to join our sales team. Position Overview: As a Food Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for working closely with our existing distribution partners, while driving sales and building relationships with food service customers in your assigned territory (KwaZulu Natal). You will promote our products, provide product education and demonstrations, and work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences. This role requires a passion for food, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain relationships with existing distribution partners and their sales teams.Develop and maintain strong relationships with food service customers, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, and catering companies.Identify new sales opportunities and proactively prospect for new business within your assigned territory.Present and promote our product offerings to customers, including food samples, product demonstrations, and marketing materials.Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights. Qualifications: Previous experience in food service sales or a related field is a necessity.Strong knowledge of the food service industry, including understanding of food trends and customer preferences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
