Position Available: Forensic Specialist Position Overview: As a Forensic Specialist, you will play a critical role in conducting investigations into irregularities, conflicts of interest, and potential fraudulent activities within the organization. Collaborating closely with the Manager of Forensic Services, you will gather compelling evidence and develop strategies to minimize financial losses, reputational damage, and other irregular behavior. Key Responsibilities: Promptly and comprehensively investigate all allegations or suspicions of violations within the organization. Identify potential system and process deficiencies and recommend preventative measures and improvements. Analyze the activities of individuals, groups, and organizations using analytical techniques. Manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and keep senior management informed of investigative developments. Collect and analyze electronic data, interpret documents, and interview suspects/witnesses to substantiate findings. Document key information and issues related to investigations accurately and comprehensively. Institute recovery procedures in collaboration with Legal and Finance departments. Monitor fraud risks and identify potential fraudulent trends and activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for the prosecution of investigations, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation. Conduct fraud awareness campaigns and training sessions across the organization. Support fraud risk assessments and identify potential fraud risk areas. Provide input into the continuous improvement of business processes and the control environment. Develop and recommend fraud detection processes and controls to mitigate fraud impact. Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting and Finance, Internal Audit, Business, or Law. Professional qualification: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). 5-8 years of experience in conducting forensic investigations within corporate environments. Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to forensic investigations. Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques. Experience in fraud risk management and assessments. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong project and time management skills. Technical Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Stakeholder management, particularly with senior management. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Industry knowledge in media and entertainment. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
