Plumstead Preparatory Grade 2 Teacher – SGB Situated in Plumstead, Cape Town, Plumstead Preparatory invites passionate and qualified individuals to apply for the position of Grade 2 teacher, commencing on 1 May 2024. Minimum Requirements: - Hold a B.Ed. degree, specialising in the Foundation Phase. - 5 years teaching experience in the Foundation Phase. - Be a registered member of SACE. - Police Clearance Certificate or proof of application. - Possess a high proficiency in both spoken and written English. - Demonstrate the ability to implement CAPS and ATPs effectively and with innovation. - Able to teach English Home Language, Mathematics and Life Skills within the Foundation Phase. - Showcase strong administrative skills, encompassing planning, assessment, record-keeping, and reporting. - Willing to actively participate in all aspects of school life, including extra after-hours functions when required. - Be proficient in Microsoft and Google Applications for educational and administrative purposes. - Offer extramural activities, contributing to the holistic development of our students. Advantageous Requirements: - Trained in Jolly Phonics and The Science of Reading - Experience in coding and robotics. - Ability to integrate technology into lessons.
