Job Summary: The Freelance HR Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HR tasks to support our clients day-to-day operations. This includes managing recruitment processes, overseeing employee relations, administering HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple projects and clients efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the entire recruitment process from drafting job descriptions to screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring and onboarding process. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, mediating conflicts and ensuring a positive work environment. Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives. HR Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with labour laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and update company policies accordingly. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance evaluation systems. Guide managers on performance management issues and the development of employees. Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Facilitate professional development and career growth opportunities. Compensation and Benefits: Support the development and implementation of compensation strategies and benefits administration. Provide payroll support as needed. HR Administration: Maintain employee records, manage HR documents (e.g., employment contracts, policy manuals), and produce reports on HR metrics. Project Management: Lead and support various HR projects, such as implementing new HR technologies or processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role. Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle data with confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
