It is a multitasking role with a variety of front office activities and constant client interaction to ensure a high degree of service delivery. Duties / Responsibilities: Switchboard operator – answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls. Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner (face to face, telephonic or via email). Answering questions about the organisation and provides callers with address, directions and other information requested. Populate information to communicate and advise on deliveries, collections and booking slots. All information to be captured on their inhouse system (Parcel Perfect), as well as Fresh Desk to ensure centralised communication. Assume workflow of a client services champion when required. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when related to basic data capturing. Polished professional with outgoing attitude, be a team player and willing to assist clients. Professional conduct, experience interfacing with various levels of staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent organisational and personal interface skills. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills on all levels. Proficiency with MS packages with Excel (basic skills) being essential for the role. Minimum Education and Experience Required: Matric preferred Computer literate Customer service experience is highly advantageous
