The purpose of the Front of House role in a restaurant is to ensure a positive dining experience for guests by providing excellent customer service and managing various front-of-house operations. Front of House staff plays a critical part in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service to guests, thereby contributing to the overall success and reputation of the restaurant. Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Experience Requirements: Grade 12 Hospitality Qualification- Advantageous Guest Experience Management - handling of compliments and complaints, environment, and ambiance management. Etc Experience in relevant field within FOH i.e., floor service, retail, hosting. Knowledge and practice of food safety and hygiene standards. Duties and Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities: Guest service and handling of food and beverages - ensuring guest satisfaction. Building customer relations and retaining regulars Knowledge and practice of basic food safety and hygiene standards. Execution of relevant and sectional SOPs Cash Handling - waiters float and or cashier till Understand and operate point of sale system. Strong ability to work as a team. Attendance and active participation in all relevant training sessions on & off site. Training, coaching and guidance new hires and in support of other teammates. Assistance in stock counts Skills and Competencies: Self-motivated and confident Passion for guest Experience and satisfaction Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts and step in to assist in all sections during busy service
