Our client a large NGO is currently looking for a Fundraising and Marketing Specialist to be based in Pretoria. The post plays an active part in the fundraising department, attending international meetings to assist the NGO to further its fundraising globally. Creating and maintain a reliable, efficient, and ethical funding base. This candidate will also be responsible for the planning, managing, resourcing, coordinating, and reviewing of all the NGO's fundraising; development and writing of proposals, grant/funding opportunities research, seeking opportunities and managing grant compliance and reporting. Develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income of the NGO through a range of initiatives and the acquisition and retention of sponsors and supporters. Fundraising. Public Relations/Marketing Develop marketing materials for corporate/institutional donors. Attending events, conferences, and meetings. Diploma/Degree in Fundraising / Public Relations / Business Administration / Communications or related qualification. Proven track-record in fundraising, CSI, or related fields. 5 years' experience in proposal and grant writing, either and preferably in a non-profit organization or in the commercial/corporate sector. Substantial experience in marketing, branding, and media management. Experience in fundraising techniques, especially analysis of fundraising and marketing data.
