Job Title: WordPress Developer Location: Centurion Salary: R400 000.00 – R600 000.00 Per Month Job Type: Permanent Sectors: IT Reference: JHB004250/KM Vacancy Details Multi-National Organisation requires a WordPress Developer (Full-Stack) to join their global team, remote work. Minimum Requirements Certified in Web Development or Design. 5 years of web design/development experience Experience in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools. Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery Experience implementing, configuring and operating WordPress CMS Strong understanding of PHP back-end development Ability to convert comprehensive layouts or wireframes into working HTML pages Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications Experience in developing responsive design websites Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, etc Good understanding of search engine optimization principles. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues. Excellent visual design skills. Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies. Creative and open to new ideas. Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques. Excellent communication skills. Key tasks: Develop website design strategy for new website builds with a focus on user experience Design and develop new interfaces for users Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations. User journey development and mapping, aligning to lead generation goals. Formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
