Reference: JHB004656-Tonia-1A well-established company located in Pretoria is looking for a dynamic General Manager to join their team Minimum Education: Matric and a Technical Degree / Diploma is advantageous Minimum Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the steel fabrication industry, with expertise in sheet metal, laser cutting, welding, powder coating and CAD design.Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following: Proven track record of leadership and management in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a managerial or executive role Strong people skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead teams to achieve results Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems Welding knowledge Oversee all aspects of production and operations within the steel fabrication facility Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to develop the skills and capabilities of team members Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure customer needs and expectations are met Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
