Quantum Foods has a career opportunity at one of its Packstations for a General Manager to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the National Packstation Manager and will be based at our Brackenfell offices in Brackenfell, W/Cape. Deliver business results in relation to the processing of eggs in Western Cape. This includes managing the pack station & liquid plant in terms of the Intake process, Planning, Quality and related Sales function Deliver financial results Deliver customer and quality results Manage a team and related people issues Manage inbound and outbound distribution process Ensure maintenance functions are executed Ensure Housekeeping standards are met Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to Efficient cost and stock management Administration functions Identify and drive continuous improvements initiatives Compilation and submission of monthly reports Relevant 3 year Bachelor's Degree (essential) Minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant management experience in a manufacturing environment Successful commercial track record SageX3 experience (advantageous) Ability to operate at a Senior Management level Management of capital budgets and projects Management of suppliers, service providers, and third party contractors Effective people and performance management At Quantum Foods we are committed to Employment Equity and offer a competitive salary package and benefits.
