General Nursery worker/Sales Assistant - Somerset West
Our client, an established Nursery/Garden Center based in the Helderberg basin, is looking to fill the following position; GENERAL NURSERY WORKER/SALES ASSISTANT Duties will include but not be limited to: · Stand-in for the current Sales consultant · General nursery maintenance - cleaning, watering, labelling of stock, assistance in the correct display of products & plants to promote sales · Maintenance of the greenhouse - general maintenance, cleaning, plant propagation, watering, repotting etc. · Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the nursery. Requirements: · Matric certificate or equivalent · Good customer relations through excellent customer service · Good work ethic · Previous experience in nursery sales and basic plant knowledge · Attention to detail & a willingness to learn · Ability to work in a team as well as independently · Ability to lift and move plants, shrubs, small trees, pots, cement furniture etc · Good verbal & written skills · Residing in the Helderberg or surrounding area · Valid Driver’s license would be advantageous Kindly send your CV, state which position you are interested in and what your salary expectancy is, to careers.hrcogmail.com.
