DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Operations Management (All business departments, workshops, sites, projects)
Staff management and delegation
Mining, Heavy Industry, Engineering, Workshop, Manufacturing sectors exposure.
Technical management skills
Financial management skills
Project costing, profit feasibility
Ability to represent the company at a Senior Level.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Relevant tertiary qualification: NQF 6 or above (preferred) +
Trade qualification: Mechanical / Technical / Electrical / Electromechanical (req) +
Min 10 years exp. at a General / Operations or Senior Management level (req.) with
Multi departmental management experience (req.)
Strong business acumen (Financial, budgets, forecasting, sales, administration, procurement, workshop etc)
QA / QC Management (with ISO exp)
Auditing exp/exposure
Health & Safety
Drivers licence
Computer literate (Advanced Excel)
Traceable references (Background screening / Verifications clear)
Stable employment history
Newcastle residency required. (Relocation not included)
