General Operations Manager (Mozambique) - South Africa

Experience & Qualification Criteria:
  • Degree/Business and Administration, Shipping, Logistics and/or Transport
  • 6 to 11 years in senior management
  • Understanding of the transport industry
  • Live in Mozambique or willing to relocate there

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategy on a senior level (develop and implement strategy for operations, logistics, fleet care, finance, IT, projects and clients)
  • Leadership (inspiring employees)
  • Planning (fleet targets)
  • Operations (productivity goals)
  • Managing the financial function (budgeting, forecasting)
  • Commercial and legal (business development and reviewing agreements)
  • IT with controls and reporting (processes and areas of improvement)
  • Human Resources (driving performance)
  • Policy and Governance (corporate governance, develop and implement policies)
