We believe great companies are built from exceptional people and amazing clients. Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Geospatial LiDAR Processor in Johannesburg. As a Geospatial LiDAR Processor, you manage, process, analyze and interpret airborne and ground data per the client specifications to support various projects and initiatives within the organization. The role entails detailed technical ability in implementing digital mapping solutions. These include but not limited to LiDAR post processing, aerial triangulation, orthophoto rectification, DEM/DSM creation & editing, 3D photogrammetry, 3D MESH modelling, Oblique processing. Your work will contribute to informed decision-making, planning, and problem-solving across diverse industries, ranging from environmental conservation and urban planning to disaster management and resource exploration. Be able to work in a team environment. Be able to follow instructions. Receive digital data, either aerial LiDAR, digital camera data or ground data. Backup, evaluate, analyze & interpret the data, and check for errors. Process airborne captured data to a version that will be delivered to clients and various stakeholders. Analyze to ensure the client requirements are addressed. Perform QAQC to ensure that the accuracy meet specified requirements. Provide accurate and clear feedback on progress and results to relevant stakeholders. Have a high moral compass and professionalism. 3 Years experience in the Geospatial industry. Relevant qualification in Geography, Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field. Proficiency in basic GIS software packages. Strong knowledge of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and data projections. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex spatial concepts into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
