Our client is an international concern providing claims assistance to European medical insurance companies from their African head office in Cape Town . The company seeks to grow their Cape Town team through the appointment of German native speakers in the role of Assistance Medical Co-ordinator. The primary responsibilities of the Co-ordinator is to help traveler's world-wide in difficult situations and to ensure communication flow between the clients, the patients, hospitals, ambulance companies and tour operators. The main aim is to arrange the medical or travel needs for the insured policyholder. Remuneration: R21 000 basic negotiable benefits 21 days annual leave Minimum Requirements German native speaker with full professional fluency in English Degree SA Residency / SA VISA secured Previous work experience within travel / insurance / medical assistance / call center highly advantageous FSB registered – highly beneficial The responsibilities of the Assistance Co-ordinator includes: Communicate over the phone and via email with policyholders, a worldwide network of medical providers and colleagues around the world Co-ordinate logistic arrangements locally and internationally to assist policyholders in medical or difficult travel situations Work closely with medical professionals internally and externally Apply Now
