Assist Production manager/Production assistant to coordinate scheduled daily production processes and activities as per the set company SOPs. Environmental compliance Maintain good hygiene practices in compliance with NEMA107 of 1998. Ensure no fuel or oil enters the storm water system. Follow all company SOPs to ensure zero spills. Limit waste. Health and safety compliance Maintain good health and safety practices in compliance with OHSA85 of 1993. Always wear required, neat and clean PPE. Production and operational efficiency Execute the daily delivery plan as agreed with the production manager. Operate company weighbridge and ensure correct weight of all loads. Manage and issue delivery notes (DN) and goods received notes (GRN). Verify all documentation pertaining to GRN and DN received from drivers. Report all weight discrepancies immediately to the production manager. Attend monthly training as per training schedule. Assist with production and other duties as required by management. Maintain company housekeeping standards during daily plant operations. Maintain good timekeeping practices. Arrive for shift on time. Timely tea and lunch breaks. Good leave management. Quality assurance and control management Liaise with laboratory to maintain highest quality levels during blending, loading and offloading. Ensure correct sampling, seals, filtration, COAs, CTCs. Review production policies and procedures in line with ISO9001:2015. Complete all company required documentation timely, correctly. Grade 12 or equivalent. 3 years' experience in bulk oil and fuel environment. Weighbridge Operator experience. Computer literate in MS Office. Problem solving and fault finding. Time management. Provide motivation, support, and guidance to subordinates. Ability to learn. Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative. Ability to follow written instructions. Excellent communication and numeracy skills. Working at heights.
