Graduate Accountant - Western Cape A dynamic financial services company in Stellenbosch, offers an exciting opportunity for the candidate who is energetic, dynamic and self-motivated and able to communicate well in both Afrikaans and English, as well as using their own initiative when working together in a team. Recently graduated with little or no experience is what we need. We are an accredited as a CIMA quality training provider. This position will be a great opportunity for applicants to complete their CIMA internship. Requirements: A relevant financial tertiary qualification (financial and/or management accounting degree). Honours will be advantageous. Technological and data analysis skills will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Capturing and reconciliation of cash books. Managing, maintaining, and reconciling creditors and debtors. Assist with other responsibilities in the department as required. Additional Qualities: Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and risks. Ability to administer and execute instructions, from inception to conclusion, with minimal supervision. Ability to analyse financial data (knowledge on International Accounting Standards). Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Meticulous attention to detail. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
