Graphic Designer, Blouberg , Cape Town Looking for a Junior to mid-level Graphic designer in the Blouberg Area, Cape Town to join a dynamic team at a leading company specializing in designing high-end T-shirts for prominent brands. Ideally, you should be very creative and design freehand and be able to utilise photoshop and Illustrator. If you're a creative individual with a passion for design and a flair for popular culture then this is the perfect job. You will receive training and support in licencing design and your duties will include; Reporting to the Creative Director. Receiving a brief from the retail and manufacturing partners via the sales department which will contain details of the product required, the character brand to be used, and have an idea of the general look of the finished product. The designs will be produced, approved by our Creative Director, and sales will then present them to our retail partners. Designing Apparel e.g. T-Shirts, using our properties such as Superman, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Batman and many more. Designing packaging, POS, promotional material and web page layouts. You will have to be able to work under pressure to produce layouts quickly and creatively when needed to fill an urgent retailers brief. There will be the odd occasion where you might have to attend a meeting after hours and sit in briefs with international clients. You will need to prioritize punctuality, reliability, and creativity. You will work in a collaborative and supportive work environment where every team member can excel and contribute positively. The salary is subject to the skills the person brings to the business. Skills needed You need to be competent on both Adobe Freehand, Photoshop and Illustrator and have a knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro or Mid Journey.
