We're UREGNTLY seeking Graphic Designer - Permanent Position - KwaZulu Natal, for a wildlife and conservation filmmaker Basic web management is included in the role. Graphic Designer with Basic Web Management Skills Graphic Designer with Basic Web Management Skills to create visually engaging designs that support our organisation, amplify the careers of fellows, a growing film catalogue and community initiatives. This role includes website management tasks and the design of website assets, but excludes coding ● Develop engaging, to the millimetre designs that bring our storytelling narratives to life across various mediums, including film posters, promotional materials, social media graphics, and website assets. ● Collaborate closely with department and program leads - and content creators - to understand project goals and translate briefs into visually engaging designs. ● Infuse storytelling elements into design concepts to evoke emotion, convey messages, and inspire action. ● Assist in website management tasks, including updating content, optimising/updating visuals, and ensuring a seamless user experience. ● Maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms while adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications. ● Stay informed about conservation and wildlife topics to inform design decisions and contribute meaningful insights to project discussions. ● Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on designs, and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Completed Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar minimum of 3 years professional experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing storytelling-driven work. Previous design experience from the film or entertainment industry and knowledge of UI/UX design principles are highly advantageous. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,Illustrator,InDesign) and other relevant design software. ‘ Bonus' Qualifications: ● Experience in film or entertainment industry-related design projects. ● Knowledge of video editing software and motion graphics techniques. ● Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices. ● An interest in emerging design trends and technologies. Salary: R15 000 - R20 000 per month CTC. This is a remote position and occasional travel will be required Location : KwaZulu Natal
