Purpose of the Job: The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation of high impact graphics and proposal images and presentations that contribute towards producing a winning proposal. The Graphic Designer will work as an integral part of the Bid and Marketing team to ensure all customer-facing documentation and media are of the highest visual impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To support the Bid and Proposal team in the production of customer facing documentation that is consistently of the highest quality and impact Develop proposal graphics that have impact and are easy to interpret To ensure compliance with required proposal deliverables To create and manage a range of documents and presentation templates Document template management in line with Company branding Preparation of PowerPoint presentations to Clients Manage and respond on all Social Media Platforms Post content on social media, design graphic material, and attract consumers on all Social Media Platforms Copy Writing (Assist with proposal write-ups) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Matric Certified 1 – 2 years' experience in an agency or similar environment A Degree / Diploma in Graphic Design / Creative / Artistic Discipline Desktop Publishing Software Skills (Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premier Pro) Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite with MS Word and PowerPoint emphasis) Microsoft PowerPoint / Prezi Social Media Platform Experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc.) Experience utilising Joomla and WordPress would be advantageous Drivers' liculd be advantageous COMPETENCIES: Excellent written and verbal communication Skills Ability to exercise discretion in disclosing information Excellent Organisational Skills Production of proposal graphics for use both in electronic and hard copy materials Ability to work with subject matter experts (SME) to turn written, numerical, and existing content into compelling graphical representations Confident working with a range of software and design tools to create graphical output that can be incorporated into tender documents and accompanying materials such as CDs, brochures, document wallets, delivery cartoons, websites and other media as specified / required by the Client/s Ability to work in a deadline driven environment without compromising artistic creativity Strong attention to detail Self-motivated and adaptable to change Ability to work as part of a team and individually Strong commitment to service and quality standards as well as client satisfaction Ability to apply initiative and judgement Ability to communicate with people at all levels Apply Now
