Role Summary:
As the Group Chief Risk Officer, you'll be responsible for establishing and implementing a robust risk management framework in alignment with international standards. Your role will involve defining risk policies, setting acceptance criteria, and ensuring compliance across all business entities. You'll provide visionary leadership, monitor risk profiles, and guide strategic direction to achieve business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Establish and communicate Group Risk Management framework and policies
- Define risk acceptance criteria and tolerance limits
- Oversee Risk Management functions across all entities
- Monitor and manage risk profile at the Group and subsidiary levels
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations
- Provide leadership and career development for direct reports
- Promote corporate values and commitment to Group objectives
Qualifications & Experience required: - Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required, relevant Master's degree preferred
- Formal Training: Proficiency in Banking Law/Regulations
- Minimum Experience: 10+ years in risk management within Financial Services, with significant experience in the Banking Sector, including 7+ years at a senior management level
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Banking operations, strategic orientation, policy development, financial acumen, regulatory knowledge, risk management expertise
