Leading Manufacturing concern of a listed company has a new opportunity for a Group Consolidations and Reporting Analyst. Report directly to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly financial packs; timely and accurate preparation of consolidated forecasts and budgets and management of the HFM database. A CA(SA) with 5 years financial / accounting experience in a Group Consolidations and Reporting position in a listed company is essential for the position . Main responsibilities include: Responsibilities Preparation of group monthly management pack in accordance with group policies. Preparation of financial pack and commentary for submission to the board and its committees. Preparation / review of group weekly flash results. Management and consolidation of Actual, Forecast and Plan data in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). Management of the budgeting and forecasting process within the group. Partner with Group Technical Accountant to co-ordinate the take on of new acquisitions (and disposals) on the HFM application. Provide guidance and assistance to divisional analysts with acquisition journals and take on balances, and facilitate sign off with the Group Technical Accountant. Analytical reviews of prices, volumes and key stats on a monthly basis. Process group elimination entries. Manage inter-company matching process, and ensure mismatches are cleared before data submission. Partner with divisional finance teams to ensure all deadlines are met for data and template submissions across all reporting segments. Proactively engage with divisional Finance Mangers for continuous improvements and enhancements of reporting tools to gain efficiencies. Co-ordinate / manage HFM application changes, upgrades and rebuilds to deliver a uniquely company reporting system. HFM support and guidance to Divisional Reporting Analysts where appropriate. Identify training needs and manage training workshops for HFM users on an ad-hoc basis. Manage preparation, collation, and submission of regulatory reporting to Stats SA, SARB, Manufacturing Circle Survey, and Bureau of Market Research.
