You will oversee the full accounting and stock functions of group, and assist the Financial Manager where necessary.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly local and foreign bank reconciliations
- Reviewing and releasing of payments
- Reconciliation of FAR on a monthly basis
- Drive and control asset verification and complete verification report
- Review of reconciliations
- Clearing of the purchase accounts
- Review of age analysis
- Prepare monthly VAT submissions
- Liaison with SARS
- Drive clearing out of aging items with branches to manage inventory levels with aid of the Financial Manager
- Obtaining monthly branch checklists for review
- Review and update Inventory item prices
- Assist with internal and external audit
- Monthly payroll journals
Education:- BCom degree in Accounting / Finance
Job Experience & Skills Required:- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role essential
- Stock and warehouse industry experience essential
- Accpac experience non-negotiable
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Financial acumen

- Must have a valid driver's license
