Qualifications Degree in HR Managment Experience 5-10 years at Executive Level Experience in the Retail Industry Responsibilities As a Group HR Executive in the retail sector, your role involves overseeing human resources functions across multiple retail locations or within a retail corporation. Here are some of the key responsibilities and tasks you might be involved in: Recruitment and Staffing: Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent at various levels within the organization. Conducting interviews, screening candidates, and making hiring decisions. Managing the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training programs. Employee Relations: Addressing employee grievances and conflicts in a timely and effective manner. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment. Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or policy violations as needed. Performance Management: Implementing performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback. Developing performance improvement plans for underperforming employees. Identifying training and development needs and coordinating appropriate programs. Compensation and Benefits: Administering employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives. Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards regarding compensation and benefits. HR Administration: Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases. Handling payroll processing and ensuring accuracy of payments. Managing employee exits, including conducting exit interviews and facilitating smooth transitions. Training and Development: Identifying training needs within the organization and coordinating training programs to address those needs. Developing career development plans for employees to support their growth within the organization. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. HR Strategy and Planning: Contributing to the development of HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Providing HR insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making. Monitoring HR metrics and key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation and proactively updating policies and practices accordingly.
