Reference: PTA000164-WM-1 Our client is currently looking for a Group Learning & Development Manager, The candidate will be responsible for managing the Learning & Development function through the formulation and effective implementation of a sustainable and effective Learning Strategy. Develop and promote the learning culture and learning philosophy. Develop and implement a learning and development strategy and plan. Formulating Learning Needs Analysis to ensure that the development plans and interventions meet the short, medium, and longer-term business needs (as this relates to capability and competency gaps) Measure the impact of learning interventions, aligned to desired business and performance impact. Drive various learning methods companywide i.e. 70/20/10 – experiential learning, learning through others, formal learning, online learning, and blended learning approaches. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) in line with company strategy. Accountable for the preparation of the department's budget, operational plans, and initiatives, including submissions and liaison for funding where applicable. Oversee the management of the training budget and programme expenditure to demonstrate an effective ROI (Return on Investment). Ensure effective control of costs for learning and development initiatives to increase cost-efficiency. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: B degree or NQF 6 equivalent qualification Honours/Masters in HR or relevant qualifications would be advantageous. 8 years' experience in Learning & Development is necessary with 5 years' experience in a managerial position. Experience with various L&D tools, methodologies, and systems. Advanced facilitation experience Clear understanding of the SETA landscape, reporting, and submissions Registered Skills Development Facilitator (advanced), assessor, and moderator (ETDP) Stakeholder engagement and consultation skills Experience in implementing graduate programmes, learnerships, internships, and apprenticeships.
