Join our client as a Group Consolidation and Reporting Accountant and play a pivotal role in shaping their financial future You'll be the financial architect responsible for consolidating and reporting our client's financial performance across their diverse portfolio of businesses. Lead the charge in financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis, and provide financial insights to drive business growth and success. Submit your CV to Stormsalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Preparation of Group management accounts on a monthly basis (including review of monthly forecasting). Drafting and passing monthly Consolidation journals (including ensuring Group intercompany loans are in balance) Review businesses tax schedules (Provisionals, interim and final) Manage Group internal and external audits and ensure subsidiary statutory audits are completed timeously Ensure monthly group reporting deadlines are adhered to by all businesses. Assist with drafting of Group AFS. Head office trial balance review – this includes correct allocation of income and expenses. Deal with SARS ad SARS related queries Identify, develop and implement new accounting policies across the group to ensure IFRS compliance as well as good corporate governance. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Accounting BCom Honours CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles 2-4 Years post articles Experience in understanding the Group consolidation and reporting role in its entirety is essential SAGE X3 experience is beneficial Experience in a group environment is beneficial Skills & Competencies: Excellent in excel (advanced excel skills), word and written communication. Must be a self-starter and willing to understand the detail and report on the results to EXCO. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and deliver quality outputs. Strong service delivery ethic. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Having a continuous improvement mindset.
