A well-established company within the Paper and Packaging industry is seeking a Group Safety Manager to join their team in JHB East. This will be a permanent requirement. The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include Safety Management along with Fire Management Consulting with Management, developing the risk management policy for the Group Develop and roll out risk management methodologies Group risk frameworks Ensure everything is inline with ISO 31000 guidelines Insurance Audits Ensure Permits are in place Investigations into incidents and remedial measurements Change Management, Project Management and System Implementations Qualification Degree in Risk Management, Operations, or related field SAMTRAC Certification Relevant ISO Certification Project Management Certification (advantageous) Experience 5 years' experience as a senior Safety Manager within a Warehouse / Plant environment Must be able to manage multiple sites Risk Management, SHEQ / OHS exposure Internal audit experience Fire Protection / Fire Risk experience Experience with insurance and claims / Insurance audits Warehouse and Operations Management Must be willing to travel nationally and engage with various sites If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
