Purpose of the Role: Working alongside the group's finance and tax leadership teams, the Group Tax Accountant will be responsible for the group's tax consolidation and reporting activities, overseeing the delivery of tax compliance across the group, actively support a wide range of tax initiatives including transfer pricing, tax audits, internal tax projects, OECD pillar two compliance processes etc. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of experience in tax and accounting, including driving process and technology initiatives at a multinational corporation; and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment. This exciting and challenging position involves extensive collaboration with various functions and stakeholders across the business to address tax-related matters for the group. Duties include, but not limited to: Prepare and review the consolidated group's tax provisions, effective tax rate calculations, including corporate income and deferred tax computations and associated tax schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - and ensure accurate reporting in the books for all assigned group entities. Prepare group tax journals and relevant group tax reconciliations to general ledger for both direct and indirect tax positions. Oversee the group's tax compliance framework ensuring that robust processes are in place to strengthen tax compliance. Provide actionable inputs for enhancing the group tax reporting and tax compliance processes. Manage tax related audit processes (internal, external - statutory and tax authority) including the collection and provision of information to tax auditors. Maintain the group's tax matrices and tax project trackers leveraging relevant internal structures. Review tax-related disclosures in the financial statements, including consistency of related party transactions disclosures. Prepare and review related party transactions for transfer pricing documentation and disclosure purposes. Provide proactive tax related assistance on various tax projects and tax administration matters. Provide tax training to relevant internal teams to address identified knowledge gaps. You will have (Essential Skills): Good understanding of the gaming industry will be a considerable added advantage. Minimum of 7 years tax and accounting experience in or across highly complex, growth organizations across multiple jurisdictions Excellent working knowledge of tax accounting standards and international tax principles. Strong reconciliation, planning and analytical skills. Successful working independently and as a member of a team in a high-pressure environment. Resilient with proven ability to work across multiple functional teams. Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex matters including taking rational decision on tax issues. Desire and ability to contribute to the continuous development and success of the team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong sense of urgency with a positive impact on delivery. You will have (Desirable Qualifications): Qualified chartered accountant Post graduate tax qualification 5 years tax accounting and advisory experience at a major firm or international company.
