Guest Relations Assistant (Cape Town) - Cape Town City Centre

KEY OUTPUTS:

  • Ensure all guests are being met by &beyond.
  • Ensure extraordinary guest experience through preparing snack packs, guest delight stops, and ensuring our 3rd party suppliers are all up to standard.
  • Ensure guest delights are being done for tours, birthdays, honeymoon picnics, or any special occasion.
  • Get guest feedback on all tours, consolidate feedback and send to the reservations consultant within 72 hours of the tour
  • Printing, checking & delivery of journals to Cape Town hotels/ Suppliers
  • Printing and checking of name boards for all meet and greets
  • Assist with site inspections in Cape Town/ overnight stays if required and write full reports on them
  • Check on 3rd party suppliers and make sure they are up to standard
  • Assist with amending Tour plan for all tours and transfers that are outsourced
  • Respond to emails and requests timeously
  • Assist with bookings and outsourcing
  • Visit guests as requested should there be any serious complaints received whilst guests are in Cape Town
  • Need to be able to step in and assist with any issues when required
  • Organise 3rd party training with suppliers, educationals and Team Build events
  • Stay current with all products and new offerings in Cape Town and surrounds
  • Management of lost luggage, ensuring lodges/suppliers and guests are being communicated to continuously
  • Manage all VVAs, hot boxs or anything that touches the guest
  • Emergency phone duty on a rotational basis
  • Manage aesthetic of brand in all aspects: uniform, vehicles, general appearance of M&Gs, anything that touches the guest in any sense.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven skills in dealing with guest requests and complaints
  • Ability to assist and co-ordinate day to day operations
  • Attention to detail is vital
  • 3 5 years tourism/hospitality experience
  • Knowledge of Cape Town and surrounds would be advantageous.
