We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical maintenance, with a focus on gym equipment. As a Technician at MaxfitSA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our equipment for both commercial and domestic clients. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of gym equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, weight machines, and more. Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair history. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to provide technical support and assistance to clients. Install new equipment and ensure proper setup according to manufacturer guidelines. Assist with inventory management and ordering of replacement parts and supplies. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Provide training and guidance to clients on the proper use and maintenance of gym equipment. Represent MaxfitSA in a professional manner at all times, delivering exceptional customer service and support. Delivers and collections. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Technician, preferably in the fitness industry. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed. Physical fitness and dexterity to perform equipment repairs and installations. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment maintenance. Certification or training in equipment maintenance and repair is a plus.
