Half Day Founders Associate Intern - Cape Town Region

As a Founders Associate Intern, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, providing essential support to our founders and contributing to the growth and success of our business. This role is ideal for a recent university graduate or a current student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges. Key Responsibilities: 1. Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents. Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone calls, and ensure timely responses. 2. Data Management: Review and verify deduction sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Organize and maintain databases related to various aspects of the business, including customer information and financial records. Assist with data entry and analysis as needed. 3. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to support strategic decision-making by the founders. Compile and summarise research findings into clear and actionable reports. Assist in gathering information for presentations, proposals, and other business documents. 4. Project Support: Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives, providing assistance as required. Take ownership of specific tasks within projects and ensure deadlines are met. Provide general support to the founders and other team members as needed. Requirements Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a university program or recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
