HANDYMAN - South Africa
You will excel in this role if you are an efficient, solution-driven individual, who is hardworking and functions well within a team. The successful candidate must be an experienced Maintenance Handyman who will be able maintain and repair appliances, build and construct in wood, metal, and concrete and also have a general knowledge of electrical work, plumbing and air conditioning. Experience and requirements : Minimum of 2 years’ general electrical, plumbing, and/or air conditioning and heat pump repairs and maintenance Hotel or property maintenance experience would be advantageous Knowledge of safe working procedures of electrical tools and equipment Basic hand tools and electrical knowledge Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas Main Responsibilities: Ensure that the facilities and equipment in around the business are well maintained and in good working order Perform and complete all duties with minimal interruption and inconvenience to guests and the service operation Responds to maintenance requests in the minimum possible time Utilise new / existing systems to manage the issue, supplies used and stock replenishments to manage the issue, supplies used and stock replenishments Reduce any accident or damage to equipment, loss of tools and supplies Adhere to Health and Safety standards
