Seize the opportunity to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of finance Send your CV to Katesalixrecruitment.co.za Duties: Provide expert guidance on market best practices for all Financial Control functions and implement operational excellence Ensure timely delivery of all functions within regulatory and prescribed timelines Lead and supervise all aspects of the financial control department, encompassing finance operations, financial and statutory reporting, tax and VAT, as well as debtors and creditors Oversee the development and implementation of financial processes, policies, and procedures Manage the year-end audit process, including preparation of financial year packs and Annual Financial Statements for subsidiaries, adhering to regulatory deadlines Uphold a robust financial control environment through the implementation of best practice processes and controls Identify and communicate potential risks, along with recommending appropriate risk mitigating controls Identify and implement opportunities to enhance current financial processes through innovation, automation, and efficiency improvements Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom Finance BCom Honours CA(SA) Experience: Completed SAICA Articles 5 years in a similar capacity managing the entire financial control function. 5 – 8 years within the industry, experience in an auditing firm is ideal Skills & Competencies: Comprehensive comprehension of the intricacies inherent in Financial Control, Statutory Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Taxation within the banking sector. Proficient expertise in Tax Legislation, Accounting Principles, SA Governing Bodies, and Reporting Structures, along with adeptness in Reporting Frameworks and adherence to timelines Thorough understanding of internal policies and procedures Capacity to perform efficiently under demanding conditions Strong financial insight Effective management and leadership abilities Meticulous attention to detail Outstanding communication proficiency If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
