PURPOSE OF ROLE To develop and implement strategic sales plans and achieve corporate objectives for our product lines. Candidate Profile Our client is looking to hire a dynamic, resourceful Health and Wellness Consultant with a strong background in driving sales across their range of wellness product lines within the wellness or health sectors. They should be adept at identifying new clients, do proper needs analysis to be able to understand which products are the most suitable for the clients, building relationships, have a strategic mindset for sales growth, and be up to date with industry trends and with a strong ethical stance on diversity and inclusion, are essential. The candidate must have a good understanding of the following products: Disability and medical underwriting, Employee Wellness programs and Absenteeism management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for our product lines. Identify new clients. Be able to identify the needs of the clients and provide a recommendation. Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to clients to effectively showcase the benefits of the Client's Wellness offerings. Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and advancements in the wellness industry. Prepare Sales presentations. Assist in compiling tenders. Prepare sales reports and forecasts and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create strategies that will increase market share. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and issues professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Attend industry events, networking meetings, and training sessions as required. Minimum Skills, Experience & Qualifications Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or related field. 5 years of Health and Wellness Sales Consultant experience. Proven track record in sales in the wellness industry. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes, specifically Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated, ambitious, and results oriented. Ability to travel as required to meet potential clients and attend relevant industry events. Familiarity with the needs and challenges of Employer Groups, Pension Funds, Provident Funds, Self-insured Funds, Insurers, Unions, Bargaining Councils, and similar organizations.
