a Mining Group in Gauteng is looking for a suitable person to employ in the capacity of Supervisor Health & Safety (Business Partners). Must have; a Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety Management, Trade Test or Blasting Certificate, registered with SACPCMP and completed COMSOC 1 and 2 Certification. 3 Years trackless Mining experience and 15 years Safety exprience for a leading contractor. Convene, lead and participate in various Safety meetings, forums and engagements Attend Safety Department briefing and task activity sessions to represent area of accountability and act as a conduit for escalation and or onward cascading of key safety management initiatives Participate in the development, planning and roll-out of various on-site safety initiatives, campaigns and monitor implementation in are of accountability taking remedial actions as required to maintain momentum Draft, collate and present relevant safety topics for cascading through area of accountability Conduct scheduled an ad hoc safety inspections and compile safety, risk assessment and audit reports for presentation and or submission to operational leadership and the Safety Department highlighting any areas of best practice application and or concern Design, present and source safety awareness, training and coaching material courses for operational training and awareness and, building operational team self-sufficiency to manage the safety environment Conduct, facilitate and / or participate in regular operational risk assessment exercises including the facilitation of bow-tie analysis and maintain appropriate risk management schedules against which the measure operational controls, mitigatin measures etc Liaise with Internal and External stakeholder on safety related matters Grade 12 Degree or National Diploma in Health and Safety Management Trade Test or Blasting Certificate Completed COMSOC 1 and 2 3 Years experience in Trackless Mining 15 Years experience as a Safety Specialist with a flair leading contractor safe work practice Registered with SACPCMP Audit qualifications as Lead Auditor fo NOSA, OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Traffic safety knowledge Tailing Storage Facility knowledge
