Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator - Admin - Durban

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated Office HSE Coordinator (Health, Safety, Environmental) for their Admin section in Durban. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to enhance workplace safety.Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of construction health and safety plans.- Attend project planning meetings and site handovers.- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and risks.- Compile emergency response plans and evaluate their effectiveness.- Monitor subcontractors' compliance with health and safety regulations through inspections and audits.- Participate in incident reporting and investigation.- Maintain all health, safety, and environmental records.- Liaise with the Group HSE Manager and ensure statutory compliance.- Coordinate HSE training, issue of personal protective equipment (PPE), and track training records.- Report man-hours and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Oversee the work of consultants/contractors involved in construction projects.- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.- Prepare and submit reports for HSE management purposes as required.Requirements:- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF 4).- Valid code 08 driver's license.- SAMTRAC/Nebosh or equivalent qualification.- ITIS – Train the Trainer (NOSA).- HIRA – Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.- RISKMAQ 1 and 2 (IRCA Global).- First Aid Level 1 certification.- Excellent knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.- Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office Suite.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Creative, punctual, organized, and analytical personality traits.Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Tameaka Futcher, Chandre Cordier, Alyssa Marson, Elma Pelser, Henker Harmse or Wernardt Snyman at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: Engineershireresolve.za.comWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
