Job Title: Heavy Equipment MechanicLocation: Northern CapeIndustry: MiningResponsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment used in the mining industry, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, haul trucks, and loadersDiagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems with equipmentConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machineryKeep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performedWork closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure equipment is in safe working conditionEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesRequirements:At least 5 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in the mining industryTrade qualification as a Heavy Equipment MechanicN2 Theoretical Engineering (Heavy equipment mechanic / Earthmoving mechanic)Equipment experience: Sandvik D45K, Sandvik DR580 Cubex and Sandvik DI650 Leopard, Epiroc PV271 and D65Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy equipmentAbility to diagnose and repair complex technical issuesKnowledge of safety regulations and practices in the mining industryStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work in a remote location in the Northern Cape Benefits:Salary: NegotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.usAlternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
