Homestead Chef - South Africa
Candidate requirements;
- Must have experience in the luxury service industry
- Must have at least 3+ years of experience in a Senior Chef position
- Must have a passion for creating fabulous food
- Must have good knowledge of the country, surrounding communities and the environment
- Valid unendorsed SA drivers license essential
- Must have communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
- Must have good organisational ability
- Must have lateral thinking ability
- Must adhere to World Class Hospitality and Service Standards
- Honest, have good integrity, proactive and driven person who has career ambitions
- Ensure Kitchen Hygiene standards set
- Responsible for training chefs & implementing kitchen standards.
- Must instill good communications with: All chefs; All camp managers; HODs, Lodge Manager and suppliers
- Must have excellent stock controls and stock rotation practices
- Must reference incredibly well
