An vacancy exists for a Hospital Stock Controller Role Purpose: Responsible for maintaining stock levels and stock control in the entire hospital which includes pharmacy storeroom and dispensary and all ward locations. Role Duties: Ordering of surgical stock on surgeon and following up on back orders. Measure and evaluate stock activity levels for stock and re-ordering process. Aligning all orders placed on the organisation's approved formulary Maintain stock at agreed value targets (Stock days) Check expiry dates regularly and ensure the timeous return to suppliers and / or write off of stock Control of consumables cost of wards amnd theatres Implement and control systems for stock controls - cycle counts and quarterly stock takes Generate replenishment report to wards and ensure replenishments are done and sent to wards/theatres Action all stock related issues with ward PA's Ensure stock for theatre cases is available in Pharmacy and support to Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification Previous experience in stock management Intermediate computer literacy Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system Excited to learn more?
