A hotel complex with over 300 rooms, numerous restaurants and function facilities with the focus on rooms and conferencing, dealing mainly with groups seeks an experienced South African Hotelier. Minumum requirements:- Hospitality Management qualification Must have minumum of 5 years experience as Hotel Manager or Deputy GM in a busy operation Experience in both rooms division and f&b management Strong and mature person who is capable of overseeing a workforce of over 80 Liaising with the Complex GM , will be expected to run the hotel in its entirety Implement cost controls and co-ordinate the budgeting process for all areas in the Operating Services function and motivate and control Capex budget for the division. Co-ordinate sales and revenue figures for all areas under the Hotel Operations Services Division Ensure that Guest Satisfaction is established and maintained by the staff of the Rooms Division. Identify and implement staff training schemes and conduct regular performance appraisals and ensure operating standards of the hotel are achieved. Main Scope of the job: To manage and control all aspects of the Complex Hotel Operations to the required Standards within the agreed budgetary limits and parameters, and ensuring guest satisfaction and profit maximization.
