Our client is a leading short-term rental management company dedicated to transforming the short-term accommodation industry through innovation and excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory control in our managed properties. Key Responsibilities: Inspection and Reporting: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory issues. Report findings promptly to both Portfolio Managers and Operations Managers. Provide detailed and accurate reports, highlighting areas that require attention or improvement. Spot Checks: Conduct surprise spot checks without allowing the housekeeping team to anticipate their arrival. Ensure that housekeeping staff consistently adhere to established cleanliness and maintenance standards. Identify areas of improvement and address any deviations from company guidelines. Training and Development: Train and mentor housekeeping staff to execute cleaning standards that meet the expectations of a 5-star establishment. Provide ongoing guidance to enhance skills and ensure consistency in service quality. Collaborate with the training team to develop and update training materials as needed. Communication: Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff, Portfolio Managers, and Operations Managers. Address concerns and provide constructive feedback to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Report any issues and findings promptly to the Portfolio Managers and Head of Operations. Issue Resolution: Identify and address cleaning, maintenance, or inventory issues promptly. Collaborate with the Portfolio Managers and Head of Operations to develop and implement solutions. Propose and execute corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards. Required Skills Supervisor: 2 to 3 years Housekeeper: 2 to 3 years Candidate Requirements Proven experience in a housekeeping or cleaning supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or property management setting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify areas for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to train and develop a high-performing housekeeping team. Knowledge of industry cleaning standards and best practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using relevant technology and software for reporting and communication.
