Our client is looking to appoint an operations supervisor at housing complex in Brooklyn. The operations supervisor will stand in for the complex manager in his absence The operations supervisors key functions will be: Dealing with the day-to-day cleaning and security operations Dealing with agents/owner’s maintenance requests Dealing with contractors Requirements: Grade 12 PSIRA Grade B registered. Computer Literacy course Basic First Aid Basic Fire Fighting course SHE Rep Course Own transport & driver’s license Able to work after hours. Able to work shift when required. Able to work standby duties and respond when required. Work Skills (to be demonstrated through work experience) Managing staff compliment of 20 staff (5yrs) Security management Cleaning management Maintenance management Good knowledge of basic conditions of employment Knowledge of sectorial determination 6 Understanding of basic disciplinary/grievance procedures Implementation of policy and procedures Enforcing of policy and procedures Good verbal and written communication Knowledge of security systems (access control, CCTV) Communication skills Customer Service Adaptability Ethical Conduct Working hours Week 1 – 07h00 – 15h30 Week2 10h00 – 18h00 Every 2nd Saturday 09h00 – 12h00 The client offers a competitive basic salary.
