A leading insurer would like to hire a HR and Payroll Administrator to take care of their insurer payments. Recommended Qualifications BCom/NDip in Finance or similar Minimum two to three years relevant work experience in Short Term Insurance Key Performance Areas Load employee on Pastel payroll/ESS Update/Amend bank details - Pastel vs bank Notify M-Cubed / Medical Aid Administrators of changes in salaries Starter and leavers AVC monitoring employees of the age of 65 Variable updates on payroll Agent Subagents Commissions Loans Medical Aid Other Prepare monthly payroll Provide to HR Management and Exco for review and sign off Directors recon report Salary recons Payroll and all reporting and journals Xero vs the budget for payroll Pay as you earn SARS payment (manual process) Payment to M-Cubed Reconcile monthly benefits and medical Aid Sends Payroll to bank Generates monthly pay slips and advise staff BI-Annual IRP5 process Monthly specific tasks on payroll (refer payroll process) Annual Increases and bonus preparation Annual increase and/or bonus letters Annual COIDA returns Monitor Leave Weekly checks on all staff leave Check that leave is in line with company policy Check that the correct leave is taken and approved by management Advise management of leave shortfalls and/or leave that must be taken Assist management with reversals of leave if required Ad Hoc reports on abuse of leave escalated to HR management Monitor daily attendance of staff and time keeping, refer to management if required Group Masterfile Department/Role Division Permanent Temp Broker Partner Contractor Non-Exec Race Gender Salary Info BBEEE monitoring and updating Race Gender Job Description/ Job Level Disability Status Salary Employee benefit administration Monitor period and/or out payment Provide HR management with monthly recons and updates EE meetings and minutes Update/change contracts and provide to HR management for review and sign off Achieved all deadlines on calendar Administration of the Employee Handbook and providing HR management for review and sign off Apply Now
