Seeking an experienced HR and Payroll Officer for comprehensive payroll processing and HR functions. Responsibilities include payroll system management, communication with various stakeholders, and handling HR administration tasks. Key Performance Areas encompass data management, payroll administration, and HR functions such as recruitment, discipline, and performance management. The role requires proficiency in payroll software, effective communication, and adherence to statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Communication and Data Management: Adherence to Group Data Management Policy. Effective use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite for communication. Compliance with HR Calendar deadlines. Regular posting of documentation and use of prescribed templates. Payroll Administration and Management (75%): Utilization of internal Payroll software. Liaison with various entities for compliance. Full payroll function for approximately 200 employees. Monthly reconciliations and related payments. Human Resources Administration and Management (25%): Handling internal and external queries. Maintenance of staff personnel files. Discipline/IR functions and performance management. Recruitment and Selection coordination. Administration and Coordinating of Employment Equity matters: Participation in Employment Equity/Training Committee. Assistance with monthly training information. Compliance with legislative requirements. Human Capital Development: Administration and coordination of learning/development programs. Maintenance of training register/matrix. Compliance with Seta Occupational Levels. Legal/Contractual and On/Off Boarding: Preparation of HR documents and employment packs. On/off-boarding correspondence and compliance. SHE Requirements and Administration of HR projects: Ensuring compliance with SHE induction. Maintenance of relevant electronic and manual project files. Experience and Qualifications: Three years' experience in FMCG with a relevant certificate or diploma in Payroll/HR management. Extensive knowledge of Payroll Systems, Microsoft Office, and statutory procedures. Proficiency in Time Attendance systems and strong organizational skills. Bilingual with a valid driver's license. Note: Relevant experience in FMCG is essential; past experience with Pastel Payroll Program is preferred. Apply Now
