The successful candidate will be required to provide generalist human resource services in all areas of HR and projects in the district office. The successful incumbent will support the HR Manager in developing and implementing HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives and improving the effectiveness of the HR department. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive and holistic HR services to the HR Manager and programme on all aspects of HR from recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Relations etc. Ensure effective implementation of all HR processes through effective business partnering Ensure staffing levels are maintained by managing the recruitment of junior and middle management positions in the portfolio Initiate employee engagement activities such as wellness/ Heritage days Support the performance management processes within Anova Partner with line managers and staff to achieve business objectives Facilitate induction of new employees Generate weekly and monthly HR reports as required Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required A Bachelor’s degree in at least one of the following disciplines: Human Resources, Employee/Labour Relations and Industrial Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience of which 3 years must have been as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist covering all broad aspects of Human resources Demonstrated ability to creatively solve HR related problems Knowledge and experience working with BCEA, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and Labour Law Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation Highly organised & detail oriented Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in MS Office In accordance with our Employment Equity goals and plan, preference will be given to suitable applicants from designated groups as defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 and subsequent amendments thereto.
